Q&A
Questions, Answered.
-
Yes. Request can provide full proposal management, including kickoff and pursuit planning, compliance and requirements tracking, content development and coordination, strategic messaging, editing, production oversight, and final submission support.
We can also join an existing pursuit team and take responsibility for specific portions of the process when your internal team is already managing the overall effort.
-
Request works with organizations and firms that need experienced marketing, proposal, and business development support to compete for new opportunities. Our strongest expertise is with architecture, engineering, construction and other professional-services firms, particularly small and midsize businesses without large internal marketing or business development teams.
We also have experience supporting firms and organizations across government, legal services, hospitality and dining, retail, and arts and culture. Request is especially committed to supporting Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Disadvantaged, and other certified small and diverse businesses.
-
Ideally, Request is involved as early as possible—before the RFP or RFQ is released or shortly after it arrives. Early involvement allows us to help shape the pursuit strategy, messaging, win themes, compliance approach, and overall response.
That said, Request can also provide valuable support during an active proposal or in the final stages of an interview pursuit.
-
Yes. Request can supplement an existing team rather than replace it.
We can provide specialized proposal, pursuit, presentation, or strategic support when your internal team is at capacity, entering a particularly competitive pursuit, or needs an outside perspective. Our role can be defined around the specific gap you need to fill.
-
Yes. Request can step into an active pursuit at virtually any stage, whether you need additional proposal capacity, stronger messaging, content development, compliance support, qualifications development, or help preparing for an interview.
The earlier we are involved, the more strategic our contribution can be, but an approaching deadline does not necessarily mean it is too late to call.
-
Yes. Request develops and refines interview presentations, executive messaging, presentation narratives, talking points, and supporting materials.
We focus on translating technical expertise into a clear and compelling story that connects with the selection committee and reinforces why your firm is the right choice.
-
Item descriptionYes. Request offers both project-based engagements and ongoing business development support.
Some clients need help with a specific RFP, RFQ, presentation, brand project, or qualifications package. Others need an experienced marketing and business development partner they can call on regularly without the cost or commitment of building a full-time department.
-
Request engagements are priced according to the scope, complexity, timeline, and level of support required.
Depending on the project, we may work on a fixed project fee, hourly basis, or ongoing engagement. After understanding your needs, we provide a clear scope of work and fee structure before work begins.
-
Request is a strong fit for firms that know their business and expertise but need help communicating that value, pursuing larger opportunities, or building the infrastructure to support continued growth.
If your team is lean, your internal marketing or business development resources are stretched, or you're preparing for an opportunity where the stakes are high, Request can provide experienced support without requiring you to build a full-time department.
If you're not sure what kind of support you need, that's a conversation we can have, too.
